Ok, I was bored this afternoon and decided to turn off some bands that my carrier doesn't use in phone settings. After that notification bar kept displaying No network error. I've restarted the phone and was greeted with a message saying that SIM card is missing. I can't change anything in settings because stupid phone doesn't see the SIM card anymore. Wiping cache didn't help, does anyone know how to fix this? If not this might be a perfect opportunity to test fards ROM.

Bad news...
I've flashed fards ROM, and M.A.D. newest ROM, the problem is the same, SIM cards is not detected in any of the slots. Tried several SIM cards, no luck.
So people, DON'T change bands in settings on M.A.D's ROM, something is really messed up there...
EDIT: also i cant open engineering mode since the phone can't see the SIM card.
EDIT2: I flashed stock ROM and managed to get inside Engineering mode, but what ever I select I get "Query Failed" message
It seem that IMEI got wiped out, is there a way to restore IMEI???

Ok, finally fixed it, at least partially.
I had to do a full format from SP Flash Tool (format everything EXCEPT bootloader), after that I flashed stock ROM, and finally my SIM card is recognized. My IMEI numbers are still missing, but I'm able to send and receive phone calls, so I'll play with that in the morning.

Tnx Viper, I figured it last night, everything i working now, I'm on fards ROM. But it really surprised me that M.A.D. put an option inside setting that can screw up the phone totally...

I'm glad you managed to sorted it out. How did you fix it in the end?

Well, now that I managed to get a god night sleep and I'm calm again, I'll write down the whole adventure. 1. I was sitting on my couch and had an idea, why don't I disable the band that my carrier doesn't use, maybe it will help with the battery. 2. I got into Settings and disable all the bands that my carrier doesn't use. (in retrospect, boy was this a dumb idea 3. Immediately after I did that, I lost my network and had "No network" error displayed on notification bar 4. Naturally I think to myself, it's probably normal it just needs a restart, so I do it. (I was still very confident at my self at this point) 5. After restart the phone boots up and now I have a "No SIM card" error ... how wonderful. (Not so confident anymore...) 6. Tried many thing, Engineering mode, another SIM, another Restart, change SIM slot, wipe cache, nothing helps. (I'm already slightly panicking) 7. I've decided to flash new ROM, maybe that will help, I fired up SP Flash Tool and flashed fards ROM. (expecting wonders while the phone boots up) 8. No luck, same error after new ROM (major panic situation, this is now pretty serious) 9. After a lot of Googling i discover that my IMEI is wiped, and i decide to try to restore it with Maui META tool 10. Half and hour later i managed to get Meta MAUI working, everything went well, no errors but IMEI is NOT fixed (at this point I almost gave up) 11. As a last resort i fire up SP Flash Tool one more time and do a full wipe EXCEPT bootloader and flash stock ROM 12. Couldn't wait for the phone to boot up so I went to eat something (I've given up completely at this point, so, comfort food it was...) 13. After 10-15 minutes I went back to my PC, and there it was, a full LTE signal active and waiting for me (my precious) 14. Did some testing and found out my IMEI i still missing but at least the SIM card is working) 15. I've repeated the Meta MAUI guide and this time IMEI's were fixed successfully, 16. Flashed fards ROM and now I'm back to installing everything on my phone again. (but at least IT IS ALIVEEEEE ) Sorry for the TLDR, but i had to write it down, it was a very interesting night for me

I know that panic. I've experienced that before when I've thought I'd bricked a couple of phone whilst either flashing or trying to root.

Yeah, I've been there too, but usually simple reflash would fix the issue, this got me worried. Anyway, no harm done, just a reminder not to touch Band settings in M.A.D.'s ROM. It seems that any changes don't get written properly and modem database gets corrupted.

Now, I don't know if it is hw or sw but I've got a bad issue during the night.
My Apollo Lite stopped making any sound.
I was watching Netflix before going to bed then I set the phone aside and went to sleep. It was supposed to ring at 7am but at 9 when I woke up (late as fkkk) I saw the alarm app shaking on my screen but no sound coming from the phone.
I rebooted, shut off and on... Nothing. No sound playbacks from the device.
Any hints?

Okay, this is bugging me a lot. The audio is back, I wiped everything and installed Varevka AICP11 rom... and the audio is crackling, popping of whatever one might want to describe it. The speaker vibrates too much with any sound coming from it. I disabled the AudioFX, cleaned the speaker hole (yeah,6 holes and only 1 dedicated to the speaker) but still this annoying audio vibration. I didn't drop the phone. Ever.
Happens to anyone else? Any ideas?

Could be just bad soldering, and the speaker is now loose. If you tried different ROM, that should have fixed any software issues... Probably best to open up the phone and inspect the speaker. but iirc someone was already complaining about Apollo's speaker on Vernee's official forum, in the end i think speaker replacement was the solution...
