hi all, lost imei, simcard greyed out cellular network greyed out ,have gone to stock rom and done the maui meta restore but i'm getting execution timeout and window of modem exception ,any help? First of all, check the Factory test mode if your IMEI is really gone. (Power on button + Vol down, third entry.) both imei 1 and 2 should be set to unknown. then this guide will help. 1. Download all necessary drivers, which i think you allready have after your SP Flash Tools mistake. 2. Download Maui META v9.1604 www.needrom.com/download/maui-meta-3g-ver-7-1444-0-0/3. Turn off your phone. Disconnect USB cable if not allready. 4. Start Maui META, press Reconnect 5.Connect phone now and wait. 6.Maui opens a new window, close that. Select in the Dropdown list where "Get Version" is "IMEI Download" 7.You should be now on SIM1 tab. Enter your IMEI thats been sticking on the backside of your phone. except the last digit, it in the checksum field. 8.Repeat that for SIM 2 with your IMEI 2. 9.Click Download to Flash 10. Disconnect phone and restart into factory test mode (power + vol down, third entry.) both IMEI should now be displayed. All credit goes to gamerpaddy over on the Vernee Forum. I'm sure they'll be someway to sort it. I'm out of ideas though. I suggest Googling the issue, to see if you can find any other possible fixes. If you do find anything, and manage to fix it though, share it here.
Good luck.

I didn't try that Chameleon app, I've fixed my IMEI's with MAUI META tool, but for me it didn't work immediately, I had to install Android CDC drivers before Maui recognized my phone in META mode.

Mobile Uncle MTK Tools was able to fix lost IMEI on MediaTek based devices in the past. Its still out there, but I do not know if its compatible with the Helio X20.
