Did you guys try using Greenify to help alleviate the idle battery drain? I'm using it currently, and its helping quite a bit. Still not ideal, but it makes the phone usable as a daily driver. At least in the short term.

I have rooted my device, made backups and am ready to flash but this battery drain issue is concerning me. I already tend to ply with my phone, even uselessly, enjoying having it in my hand (yeah...) as it is still brand new. You know, the joy of a new toy.
That said, i manage to reach 11pm with 20% battery left and I have a rooted OTA4. Making an esteem, flashing the ROM how much would change that numbers?
Thanks!

I managed to flash this ROM. Yay! So good to look at my phone now But Huston, we have a couple of problems here: 1- Where is the option to show battery percentage? (Craving it...) 2- Where is the option to swap back and multitask buttons? (I WANT THE BACK ON THE RIGHT!) Cheers!

Ok, found it by holding the cog icon in the quick settings. Thanks!
One remains though: is there a way to have the ability to swap the back and multitask buttons on this ROM?

There's no option to switch the buttons around.

From Fard's Here's my first kernel hackup for this rom, hope MAD guys don't mind me adding it here. Something to play with till they release the 2nd build flash the img with twrp flash-image option. if you've supersu you'll need to redo that. so far it's working ok, I've not tested poweroff charging though. www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862691093

Okay, so far so good. I can wait for an upgrade.
About the battery drain I feel comfortable with My Android Tools (or ROM Toolbox as a paid one) to shut down the receivers and keep selected apps off until I fire them up myself. We'll see in the long run how well or bad the battery will behave.
What is it you posted about Fard's img? What does it do?

More Kernels from Fard's Another couple of kernels to play with, spent all afternoon trying to fix the camera, then realised I'd changed some libs last night, and it was nothing to do with camera. so for the benefit of junior members :good: choose which image you want. flash the img in twrp by selecting flash image then choose BOOT partition to flash it too :victory: Some more hotplug and cluster tweaks in this one. www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767125631and the above some with usb quirks removed ( I think) www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862691280

From Fards Last kernel from me tonight. Been trying to get 60fps working properly. (no go will do 1080p @ 30fps @ 40mbits) Tweaked the imgsensor a fair bit, and the camisp. think it's a bit clearer. tweaked the lens pics still as noisy as hell, without raw support to use. but focus at a distance seems a bit better. boot_20161228-2258.img
